Significant Shelby, Gurney and Miles Driven Ferrari Joins RM Sotheby’s Monterey Catalog
RM Sotheby’s is set to celebrate Ferrari’s most iconic period with a dedicated group of consignments for its flagship Monterey 2025 auction. Representing the 1950s and 1960s, the Ferraris on offer include four remarkable cars that exemplify the marque’s performance at the height of its coachbuilt V12 production. The lineup features a 1955 Ferrari 375 Plus Spyder, driven in period by Carroll Shelby, Dan Gurney, Jack McAfee, and Ken Miles, along with a 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series I, a 1962 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II, and a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTS.

Cannonball Winning Ferrari to Cross the Block at Mecum Monterey
Still under the care of its original owner and showing just 50,819 miles on the odometer, this is the Bianco Polo 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS made famous by the sportsman-adventurer, Jack May and his codriver Rick Cline when they won the 1975 Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash. In the process, the pair set a new world record time for the Cannonball by racing from New York City to Los Angeles in 35 hours and 53 minutes, averaging 83 MPH. The car is set to cross the block at Mecum’s Monterey sale, August 14-16

Savoy Auto Museum’s “The Connection” Show Announced for September 6th
Mark your calendar for September 6, 2025! The Connection car show, benefiting the Savoy Auto Museum in Cartersville, GA is an open class event, which serves as a platform, to unite a diverse community of car enthusiasts and intrigued spectators. An array of cars from different makes, models, and eras will be on display. Registration is currently open for members and will open to the public on July 15th. The museum is currently hosting five exhibits, including Harvest to Highway, Small Block Muscle, It’s a Duesy!, Roar of the Jaguar, and the Savoy Collection.

Bring-a-Trailer Alumni Gathering at Road America July 19th
Bring-a-Trailer will once again be a part of The WeatherTech Vintage Weekend at Wisconsin’s Road America Raceway. The annual gathering brings hundreds of historic racers from the past 100 years together into one jam-packed weekend event. BAT’s Alumni Gathering will be held in earnest at the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex, on the west side of the racetrack, on Saturday, July 19, from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
