Trump Spares Classic Cars from Tariffs….. For Now
It looks as though classic cars have received a last-minute reprieve from the Trump Administration’s tariffs. In a document published to the Federal Register, there appears to be an exemption carved out for vehicles 25 years or older. This certainly provides no relief for fans of Supercars and Youngtimer collectible cars as well as daily driver imports, but for now classic and JDM cars seem to be spared. It remains unclear how this will affect classic car parts, as those tariffs are not set to take effect until May 3rd.

Significant Schumacher F1 Car Up for Offer In May
Crossing the block on Friday, May 24th in Monaco, RM Sotheby’s has unearthed what is likely one of the crown jewels of modern Formula 1 history: Michael Schumacher’s 2001 Monaco winning Ferrari racecar. Additionally, this car achieved pole position and won the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2001 which secured Schumacher his fourth Drivers crown and Ferrari its fourth Constructors World Championship. Among the Golden Era of Ferrari V-12 and V-10 Formula 1 engines, it was overhauled by Ferrari in 2024 and 2025 to full running and driving condition and is now ready for its next Corse Clienti adventure.

Worldwide Auctioneers Releases Enthusiast Auction Catalog
Worldwide Auctioneers has released their Enthusiast Auction Catalog for 2025. Taking place in Auburn, Indiana April 25th and 26th, the sale boasts a number of collections and several no reserve offerings. Featured lots include a 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540k Cabriolet B, a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC and a handful of early 70’s Mopar Muscle Cars.

Broad Arrow Auctions Announces BMW Only Sale
Broad Arrow Auctions has announced a significant BMW-only sale will feature as part of its two-day Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este auction. Taking place on the evening of Saturday 24 May, it will celebrate the heritage of BMW as hosts of the revered Concorso. Early featured collector cars for the BMW-only auction represent halo cars for the marque across nearly 70 years of production.
