Gooding Christie’s Announces Two New Events and Retromobile Partnership

 

Gooding Christie’s has announced the signing of a multi-year partnership with Rétromobile, the foremost European automotive event, whose 50th edition will take place from January 28 to February 1, 2026. Through this partnership, Gooding Christie’s will serve as the official auction partner of Rétromobile’s flagship Paris event, which takes place annually at the close of January and start of February at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, as well as the newly announced US edition of the event. The first installment in the US is set to take place at New York’s Javits Center in November 2026.

BAT April Results

 

Bring-a-Trailer has released its April numbers. The online platform recorded a sell-through rate for the month of 82% with 4,053 vehicles listed, including 1,823 that were offered without reserve. Top sale was a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, which changed hands for $2,400,300. 84 Premium listings were offered throughout the month.

Bloomington Gold‘s 2025 Event Has a New Venue

 

Bloomington Gold Corvette’s June 2025 Event will be held at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, IL.  Scheduled for June 5-7, the Show will offer the components traditional to the June event as well as some new ones.

In addition to Gold Standard Judging, the Gold Collection, Corvette vendors and seminars, Bloomington Gold will also offer opportunities for Corvette owners to drive their Corvettes on the racetrack as well as on-site Kart racing.

World Wide Technology Raceway is in Southern Illinois, five minutes from downtown St Louis and the Arch.

Bloomington Gold Corvettes is the longest running Corvette Show in the country and is known for their Gold Standard judging of a Corvette’s authenticity as well as an annual themed collection of elite Corvettes, known as The Gold Collection.

World Record Setting MotoGP KTM Racing Motorcycle Comes to Market

 

KTM has partnered with RM Sotheby’s to present an interesting opportunity to purchase a modern MotoGP bike directly from the manufacturers racing department. This 2023 KTM RC16 is the holder of the current MotoGP top speed record of 366.1 km/h (227.5 mph), set by Brad Binder at the 2023 Grand Premio d’Italia Oakley at Mugello. This historically important competition machine is offered at no reserve and can be yours through RM Sotheby’s Sealed Bid department. Bidding opens Monday, May 26th.
